How would I restrict users access on a Win 2000 domain to certain directories during off hours?
Q. I need to restrict access to a handful of directories during evening hours, but still allow users access to other directories. Restricting login hours with GPO seems to be an all or nothing proposal and will not work for what we are doing. Is there another possible solution?

A. There is no facility in Windows 2000 server that allows you to do this. I am pretty sure there are add-on tools that allow this. One way to do this might be to run a scheduled job that runs a script that resets the "hidden" attribute on the directories at a certain time each night, then reveres when they're done. You could possibly use some kind of vbs or windows script to do this.

How to submit link in more directories ?
Q. I have submitted link in 5000 directories approximately, now it is very difficult to find new directories. I have tried to search in Google as well as in all the search engine but it has proved fail. Please guide me & tell me the way how to get rid of this.

A. You can reach 12.5 K web directories via Extreme-SEO.net, but I will recommend you to concentrate on Article Submission and Press Release Submission as well. Both of these methods are much more powerful than mere directory submission. Extreme-SEO.net provides all these services at really cheap rates..

A. The following are pretty decent and free also however the Dmoz directory is extremely difficult to get your site listed. avoid the paid site directories unless you check pagerank of the directory first to see if it is worth adding your site. As for blogs would check each blog to see if it does follow otherwise there is no point. You may want to get it listed in Yahoo directory which is free if your site is not a buisness site, good value in doing this. Also would advice to use a directory associated with your graphical location, for example if you own a uk domain submit to uk directories more so if your buisness is uk based.
